There’s always a good time to wear a bonnet! This new Menta sewing pattern and tutorial offers a version of the cute classic hat that is suitable for any material. No matter if it’s too cold or too sunny, you can make beautiful bonnets for little people in 6 sizes, that will protect them from the wind and sun.
I added the optional side pleat or back elastic to help make the hat more snug against the child’s head. You will also find instructions for adding cute bear or bunny ears and the possibility to enjoy many add-ons in the future!
Get creative! There are 8 full pages of cute appliqué templates as well as a huge variety of sample pictures taken during the testing phase to inspire you.

XXS 14"-15"/ 35.5-38 cm (Newborn to 3 months approx.)
XS 15"-16"/ 38-40.5 cm (3 to 6 months approx.)
S 16"-17"/ 40.5-43 cm (6 to 12 months approx.)
M 17"-18”/43-45.7 cm (12 to 18 moths approx.)
L 18-19”/45.7-48 cm (18 to 24 moths approx.)
XL 19“-20”/48-51 cm (2 to 4 years old approx.)
By scaling the pattern when printing you can make cute doll hats!
